I have a Dell Dimension 8250 with Windows XP. Connected to it is an Epson Stylus C62 & a Dell A10 PrinterA920. Until 7 hours ago both worked perfectly. Now both will print in colour but not in black. The Dell has a new ink cartridge & the Epsom's is half full. I've cleaned them, reinstalled the drivers, gone through all the trouble shooter helps I could find, restored it back to 1st February, run systems checks and don't know what to do next.
Many thanks for any help. Heather.

Does it go through the motion of printing when you select black, but you get
nothing...? Or the printer does nothing when you select black.

Make sure you took the plastic tape off the print head. The ink is probably
dry, try soaking the ink head in about 1/4 inch of warm water for about 15
min, and try again. Might shake the ink cart down like a thermometer and see
if you can get any ink to come out the part that rides on the paper. (the
head).
