Winoew installed an auto-update and now when I go to a website that has a
video, instead of the video appearing I get a white blank space where the
video image should be with a little tiny square in the upper left corner that
has a red square, a green circle and a blue triangle in it. It seems the
video is being blocked or something. Is there a setting that can be changed?
I never had this problem before.

Uninstall the update.
Let us know what update it was.
If it fixes your problem - maybe we can help.
If it doesn't - likely a coincidence.

In order for us to help, you need to tell us:

* what version of windows you have, including the service pack number
* what version of Internet Explorer you are using
* what is the URL of "a website"
* which video on that page is giving you trouble
* which "auto-update" you suspect is causing the problem
* whether you have the same problem when you start Internet Explorer
from the 'no add-ons' icon

Without this information, the most you can expect to receive is generic
troubleshooting or perhaps a lucky guess.

What update?

Did you re-install the codecs?
