Can't play tracks purchased online

I recently purchased 2 tracks online for the first time. When I tried to play
them a message appeared "Windows Media Player cannot play the protected file
because a security upgrade is required. Do you want to download the security
upgrade?" I clicked yes then got the message "The file or device you are
trying to use requires a component of windows media player to be upgraded" I
click upgrade & nothing happens. Can anybody help please.

If you're using Media Player 11, then the link below has some ideas. It may
just be easier to use "Add/remove" programs and roll back to WMP 10.

I've never tried downloading songs, but I've rolled back from Media Player
11 twice to resolve other conflicts....
