I'm trying to help a woman out, but I'm kind of lost.
She is running Office XP & apparently the MP3's play
before she saves the presentation. After the pack & go
none of the sound works...is there a simple explanation,
or is there more info needed? Thank you for any help you
can lend.

Probably lots of information required, but let's start simple. Did she move
everything to another system to run this test or is she testing on the same
system where the presentation resides and where she ran Pack and Go?

Thanks for the reply. She is running the presentation
before the pack & go on the same computer it was made
on. After the pack & go, she tries to play it on the
same computer and it won't work.

The only explanation that I can think of is that she might have modified the
path structure of the files after she unpacked the presentation. Pack and
Go gathers everything together and corrects the links to all be "relative"
to the presentation file. After unpacking, the files should all be in a
single folder. If she's tried to tidy them up by putting the MP3's in their
own folder, then the links will be broken.

The cleanest test would be to unpack the presentation and then move the
contents of the folder to another system and test it there. No changes
should be made to the file structure. All of the files need to remain in a
single folder.

I will have her try this. Thank you so much for all of
your help, you've been wonderful!!
