When I want to open a live web site, I select Open, then enter the URL in
the File Name box. For one of my sites, this has been working routinely.
Today, when I click that name in the drop down box, nothing happens.
However, when I go to File | Recent Webs and click that URL, it opens.
Again, this site/URL will not open from the drop-down box. What could
I have changed?
Earl

Try deleting any entries in My Network Places that point to the problem site.

Done that, still no help. I have other sites which I can continue to open
by
clicking the Open Folder icon then clicking the site URL in the drop down
box.
Its just this one site that won't open this way. Like I said, I can open
this site
with File | Recent Web... or File | Open Web.

Hmmm. With FrontPage not running, try deleting all the .web files on your PC,
and/or deleting your Temporary Internet Files in IE.

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download FP Cleaner.

Run the functions that clean the FrontPage temporary files
and the Cache(.web) files.

See if it helps
