can't open video folder in my documents

Every time I try to open the video folder in my document
the screen instantly clears any open windows and returns
me to desktop. I've tried reinstall windows xp, IE6,
repair programs...please any ideas?

Checked Event Logs? Start, Run and type Eventvwr.
