Each time I try to open a selected desktop icons, such as
my computer, my document ..., a message pops ups like
that: Explorer has caused an error in <unknown>.
Explorer will now close.
If you continue to experience problems,
try restarting your computer. ---------- Then I
click Close, another message pops up:
Explorer has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL.
Explorer will now close.
If you continue to experienc problems,
try restarting your computer. --------- And I
click Close again, then all the windows that are already
opened has closed.

Also, I've tried to restart my computer again and see what
happen, everything was the same.

Advice is really appreciated!

I'd try going to start then choosing run and typing sfc /scannow. If this
doesn't help, you may need to do a repair install of Windows 2000. You
might also want to see if the problem happens in safe mode.
