Can't open specific website in IE6 - get PerfectNav search instead

My former home page was ABCNews.go.com. Now I cannot get
to it either by typing in the URL or through favorites.
I tried to download an update that looks like it would
help (q827667) but it refused to load saying I needed to
download IE Service Pack 1 first. Every time I try to
download that, nothing happens.

I'm working on removing the spyware, but is there
anything else I can do to remove this bug?

Check for a file named HOSTS with no extension (not Hosts.sam). It may be a
hidden file. Open it with Notepad and remove any line referencing the site.
Or, rename HOSTS to OLDHOSTS
