Can't Open or Run Access Reports

All of a sudden a whole bunch of my reports cannot be opened in Design View
or run. The hourglass just comes up sometimes and then nothing happens.
They worked fine this morning. I have tried compacting and repairing the
database. Check my machine for virus and spyware and still it does not work.
Any ideas? These reports are crucial and unfortunately, I do not have a
backup that I can use.

Thanks!

Have you tried creating a new, empty .mdb file and importing the objects
from the questionable database?

And if this is quite critical, consider regularly making a backup.

Yes, I have already created an empty database and imported all the objects.
Unfortunately, it is a critical database and all the tables and queries are
fine but some of the reports just don't run all of a sudden. I run the
queries attached to the report and they are fine but when I run or try to
edit the report, it just doesn't do anything??? I am at a total lose and
don't know what to do.

Thanks!

So, after importing the reports, some don't run and others do? Is there an
issue with which printers they are pointed at? You may have to re-build
some of the reports.

Rebuild??? Do you mean totally rewrite? I can't even open or go into Design
mode? All my printers are fine and I haven't deleted or changed any of my
printers. And yes, some are just fine and others aren't.

I have even pulled old copies of the reports and imported them and it still
won't work??

Jeff,

After reading your last post, I decided to just try and change the system
default printer and now all of my reports are working again. I have had the
other printer my default forever and it is working just fine so I am not sure
why the reports won't run when it is selected... however, the important part
is that they are working again.

Thanks!
