cant open notepad.exe neither read text{*.txt) files

notepad.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005)

Try this, go to start, search, files and folders, type in
notepad, hit search, let's see if it's exectuable is
missing or missplaced on your hard drive. You may come up
with a bunch of them, the important one should be located
in windows system32 folder. It looks like a blue notepad
icon.
