I was wondering if any others were having this problem. After a recent
auto-update(Windows installer 3.1), my IE went crazy. First, I could not open
additional IE windows. Then I could not access auot-update site(error code
0x80072efd). (the only firewall is windows) Next my MS antispyware had a
critical error. Then some of my other programs would not do their updates. I
recieved errors stating I was not connected to internet.(I was)
I have emailed update support. Everything they requested, I did. I
unistalled numerous programs plus a ton of other things they suggested. I
finally restored my computer to a date BEFORE update was installed. Poof!!!
All my problems were solved. I know this is a critical update, so I need it.
But I want it without all the other problems.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Also I am a novice here, so detailed
instructions would be a big plus.
***note*** I have also tried alot of the things I found here on this site to
no avail.
