Can't open multiple files from explorer or my computer

Nanashi Nogombe

I can no longer open more than one file at a time from explorer or my
computer. I highlight the files I want, right mouse click and choose "open"
from the drop-down menu and nothing happens. It always used to work and
still works on my computer at work. Can anyone help please?

This could actually be indicative of a different problem. What program
might be an example of your first opened? Once you have opened ONE program,
go to the task manager and note the processor usage. If it's up at or near
100%, it could be that you PC is trying to open the second program but
cannot do so in a timely manner - in other words if you waited long enough
(several minutes) it would open. Also after attempting to open the second
program, see if they are both mentioned in the processes list in task
manager.
