Can't open more than one browser at a time.

Dan Farey

I cannot open more than one browser at a time. I have
reinstalled the IE 6 program and it still will not open
more than one browser at a time.

Anybody have this same problem can help me?

I have the same problem on a brand new portable Compaq p-4, WinXpHome, ie6.

Whenever there are popup ads they erase the window I was trying to open in
the first place! What an annoying nuisance!

Is there an easy way to reset IE6 to open multiple windows?
 
First open a web page then goto
tools
internet options
advanced
and uncheck reuse window for launching shortcuts

If your ore on comcast goto the program files folder then delete the comcast
folder, and that should do it.

Did that.

Did that too. Then re-booted. Still can't open more than one IE window at a
time.

Also running Netscape, which lets me open as many windows as I please.

And I only have this problem on one machine, a Compaq portable. None of the
three other machines, nor any of my neighbors also on Comcast has this
problem.

Any other ideas?
