Can't Open Internet explorer 6.1

J

Jerry

I am running Windows XP SP1 and installed a new Video
board (VisionTek 9600) and a USP wireless device Lynksys
for home computing. I now have a problem where IE 6.1 will
not start. The hour glass comes-up for a few seconds and
the IE will not start. I can run Netscape and IE within
Outlook. I have gone to the knowledge base and learned how
to reinstall IE 6.1 and have reinstalled twice. No luck
the IE 6.1 will not start. Most unusual problem I have
ever encountered.

Any help

Hi Jerry,

Try there steps:

If yer using a wireless broad band internet router, then go to control
panel-> Internet options.

Select Connections tab and click on LAN settings button.

Make sure none of the options are checked & click OK.

Now, in the internet properties window, click Advanced tab and uncheck
"Enable third party browser extension [requires restart]" option.

Click OK.
