I've recently downloaded IE6 and since then I haven't
been able to open any link that opens a new window, or
been able to use the open in a new window feature with the
right click menu. I've looked through the options but I
don't see anything that applies to this. Also when I
downloaded IE6 it gave me an error that it was unable to
read my oleaut32.dll file. Could this be the cause, and
how could I fix it. kind regards, cryss

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".

Cryss,

Extract a new copy of Oleaut32.dll. It may be the cause. Once extracted, run IEFix:
