There is no reason to keep any FP webs / files in your default location
C:\Documents and Settings\Gordon\My Documents
Create a top level folder in Windows
- for "loose" page Say C:\MyPages
- for a web Say C:\MyWebA or C:\MyWebB
Copy all your files to the appropriate folder
Open the Web folder in FP by using File Open Web/Site and browse to C:\MyWeb (FP will convert it to a web)
--
| The procedure I used was:
|
| 1. Open FP
| 2. Try opening file with FP
| 3. Shut down FP
| 4. Rename folder using Windows Explorer
|
| Repeated 1 thru 4 reducing the path length until FP was able to open the
| file. Then increased th path length by one characher and FP quit working
| again.

| It all seems so complicated until you figure it out.
