I am running IE6 on XP Home, and if I try to click on one of my favorites in the Favorites Folder I get and Error saying it needs to shut down. I can click on the Links I have showing under the address bar without any problem. I also get this error if I have several windows open and they revert to one block in the tool bar and I try to click on it to switch the window that is open. I can minimize windows until I get to the one I want and it works fine, just can not click on tool bar. If I only have 2 or 3 windows open and they are seperate, I can click on them to switch. The problem comes in with pop ups opening several windows and then compressing them down to one block in the tool bar.

I know I probably didn't describe my problem very well, so hopefully someone knows what I am talking about, and how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Give some more details about that message. Click on its <click here>
link and capture the Error Signature that it will lead to. You can capture
the text portion of the Error Signature by dragging your mouse over it
and then pressing Ctrl-c. Paste that result into a reply.

I think the term you mean is Taskbar not Toolbar.
(Toolbar is the buttons etc. you see at the top of an IE window.)
XP has a feature called "Taskbar button grouping" which lets one button
become a menu of all the windows which have been opened by a particular
program. Press Win-F1 and enter that phrase (including the quotes)
to learn more about it.

Are you using that button correctly to bring up the menu of windows?
If you right-click on one of those items do you see a window command
menu? Can you use it? (E.g., see if you can Restore one of the windows
that you have minimized.) I'm suggesting this because there is some ambiguity
in the word "click" and also because it isn't very clear to me what command is
being executed if you click one for a window which hasn't been minimized
or maximized. E.g. in either of those cases Restore is clearly the
default action but otherwise Restore is greyed.

I don't think you have made your second symptom clear enough.
Is there a crash? Is it the same crash? (Same Error Signature.)
If it is simply a matter of the Taskbar button grouping feature
not working properly you are probably not in the right newsgroup
to get help for that. Try a newsgroup which specializes in XP
instead.
