can't open attachments

hi,
i have outlook express. i receive attachments and i can
see that they are there, but am unable to open them.
does anyone have any insight as to how i can get them to
open? as of now, i have to forward them to a different
email address. HELP!!!!!!!!!
 
If you recently applied SP1 for Internet Explorer 6, then open Outlook
Express and select Tools | Options | Security tab and uncheck the second box
from the top concerning potentially dangerous attachments. (It is a new
security feature)
