can't open attachment Resume.doc

I am having issues opening up any attachment called
resume.doc HAs anyone experienced the issue and what did
they do to fix it? I have all the latest patches?

Try saving it to the desktop and opening it from there.
If you can save it but not open it from your desktop then
the problem is with the attachment. Either way it may not
be a problem with outlook. Try having the person send it
again. If you have another email have them send it there
too.

is this a real doc you were expecting and need? if not, it might be a
virus - I seem to recall getting a few of them previously. if you weren't
expecting the message and document, delete it.
