When I click on a link from Outlook Express I was able to
go right into the Internet Explorer automatically. Now
when I click on any link nothing happens. I have to copy
the URL manually and have to open Internet Explorer and
then I can go to the link. Is anyone experiencing this
problem? What can I do to fix this problem?

Open a command prompt and navigate to the
C:\winnt\system32 directory (or c:\windows\system32,
whichever is applicable on your pc). Then at the command
prompt type:

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

and hit the enter key. Your links should work now.

Hello Kevin,

I tried what you mention on your e-mail which is to run
regsvr32 urlmon.dll. It ran successfully but I still
can't double click on a link on Outlook Express and get
it to work. Also, on Excell, if I double click on a url
link it displauys the following message:

"The operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in
effect on this computer. Please contact your system
administrator."

I certainly didn't put any restrictions on this computer.
The only think I ran was an update from Microsoft which
they do periodically. I don't know if that had something
to do with it.

Thanks for the reply and if you know of asnything else,
please let me know. I also know of someone else that has
the same problem but with Outlook and not Outlook Express.
