can't open, accept or decline assigned task

Hi, we are running BCM Update on two networked computers in our office. If
one person assigns a task to the other person, the receiver cannot
double-click-to-open the resulting email message, only view it when reading
pane is active. If they press the accept or decline button, it does
nothing. Anyone else have this problem? I could find nothing with a search
of KB or this group. Thanks.
 
I am having the same problem - I have tried updating Outlook and anything
else I can think of , but I still can't update or accept tasks. Do you run
ActiveSync? - I wionder if that has anything to do with it??
 
Actually, after I posted this message, I did a search in the "General
Questions" discussion group and a bunch of hits came up, unlike this one that
had none. The answer is that two security patches are the culprits. Check
out that group for the specific KB articles. To my knowledge, you must
remove the update to fix the problem. Microsoft has not provided a fix yet
that I know of. Chris
 
Yes. I didn't install the patch some were talking about from 1/2006. I did
the later one released in April, I believe (KB913807). I only uninstalled
the OUTLKINTLff not the other one. Again I would search in the other board
for more information.
