Can't Open a file straight from the browser

One of my colleagues has a hotmail account. Lately, when
he receives an e-mail with an attachment, he is unable to
open it straight from the browser, instead, he has to
save it to his hard drive and then open it from there.
Everytime he clicks open instead of save, nothing
happens. Is there some setting that has been reset or
something else? I appreciate any help.

It's a security issue.

Open Outlook Express and from the Toolbar select:
Tools > Options > Security (tab) and uncheck:

"DO NOT ALLOW ATTACHMENTS TO BE SAVED
OR OPENED THAT COULD POTENTIALLY BE A VIRUS"
and click APPLY.
