Installed MS BB Wireless Network - base station connected
to XP desktop, wireless notebook adapter in W2K (Pro)
laptop. Desktop can see/ping the laptop, not vice
versa. Both can access the internet, but neither can
access each other (message = mshome is not accessible -
network path was not found). Workgroups are the same,
file sharing is on. I have re-installed over and over.
When I first installed the wireless network, I had no
problems, then one day (typical Windows stability)
without even touching either system, I began getting the
above message and have had no connectivity since. Both
systems are fully up to date. Is there some trick I am
missing?

Tyler,

I would make sure that you have netbios over TCP/IP enabled on both
wireless NICs, you do not have the internet connection firewall enabled on
both wireless NICs, and that there is no personal firewall software on your
machine (i.e. zone alarm or Norton personal firewall). Also, can you
connect to each other by IP or computer name? Try going to start - run -
\\<other_computer_name> and see if the shares come up. If it works for
both sides, then I might try to rename the workgroup to another name and/or
restart the computer browser service.
