When I am in a website and there is a link to another
website, after clicking on the link I am unable to move to
the new site. I can move around within that site but not
move outsite it.
I reinstalled Internet Explorer 6 but continue to have this
problem.
Try the following and see if it helps.
Can't open a page in IE
Go to the following and open with Notepad,
C:\WINDOWS\hosts (the one with no extension, not the .SAM one)
then delete any listing reference for the site you are trying to open. Then
Save and close.

Make sure your cookies are turn on. Open IE, Tools | Internet Options |
Privacy tab, Advanced tab, and put in the checks in both boxes click
Apply/OK and close.

Clear the IE cache. I.E./Tools/Options/General/Delete files (and delete
offline content.) It's often recommended that the Temporary Internet Files
(folder) be kept at
40-50 MB. Bigger isn't necessarily better.
