I cannot move or delete some (not all) messages from my inbox and
its subfolders - when I try to auto archive, I get an error message saying
the program cannot move files, and when I try to delete, I get an error
message saying:
"the messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem
persists, please restart Outlook".
When I try to move messages manually, I get:
"Can't move the items".
I've tracked down the cut-off date, after which messages are okay - it's
only messages before this date that are affected. I gues it's caused by some
kind of corruption but I can't find anything on the knowledge base to match
the error messages.
I'm running Outlook 2000 with Win XP Professional SP1
I've posted this before and had no responses. I'm kind of at my wit's end as
the .pst file is now approaching 1GB and I'd really like to archive some of
this stuff before it gets unmanageable.
Any help gratefully appreciated.
