Can't make database replicable

Nige

A friend is having problems with an Access database and Briefcase. It
says "Briefcase can't convert the database to a Design Master", and
sites a table it can't handle.

I've opened the table, and noted that there is no Primary Key, although
there is an "ID" field that is Long Integer. I tried to make this the
PK, but it complained that "You cannot make changes to the design of the
database at this replica", the Help then says that this is not the
Design Master, well I know that!

Any ideas welcome.

I'd ask in the replication newsgroup as that is where the experts hang
out.

But I'd question why you'd want to replicate in the first place.
Also using the Briefcase might not be the best way of replicating.
