Cant make changes or add new appointments in calendar

The user can't make and changes to current appointments and can't add new
appointments. No error displays when you try to click on either of them. The
weird thing is that when you click on a shared calendar you can make changes
on those but not the actual user's calendar. We are running Exchange Server
2003 and Outlook 2003. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks.
 
Have you closed and restarted Outlook completely?
