Hi,
I have Windows XP Pro SP1 installed and since yesterday, I have not been
able to logon to Windows.
On start-up, a blue screen appears with the XP logo (the one immediately
before the welcome screen), but the welcome screen does not appear and no
user accounts appear. I have tried pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del and other key
combinations to see if anything happens but to no avail. I have also tried
booting the computer in safe mode (all options) but the result was exactly
the same.
I was able to get into recovery mode by using the XP cd-rom and i ran a
chkdsk and everything was reported ok.
If any-one has any ideas how to resolve this, I would be very grateful.
Thanks
Lee.
