I'm running Win2000, IE 6 SP1 on a LAN using a proxy server. On one pc, we
are unable to access any web site which requires logging in with a user name
and password. I've run SpyBot, Hijackthis and AdAware. They all found
problems which I cleaned. I've run msconfig and found some things which I
had to correct by deleting them in the registry. Nothing has worked so far.
It's as if there some program running that is causing the web site to
misinterpret what the user is typing. Browser based applications running
behind our firewall work fine. TIA - Ange

Make sure your firewall is not blocking port 443.
