Using the XP Welcome screen? If yes and you have XP Pro, press Ctrl+Alt+Del
twice while at the welcome screen. A different style logon window will
appear. Type in the user name/password for the original Administrator
account. Click OK.

If you have XP Home, boot to Safe Mode. You'll see the Administrator
account on the Welcome screen.

The built in Administrator account is designed to disappear when another
account has been added. It is intended for trouble shooting and
administrative purposes rather than every day use. You may want to leave
this account hidden. Instead transfer your personal items over to the new
account.

You may run into an "access denied" message when using the transferred
files. If that happens, you need to "take ownership" to regain access.
