Cant log on to XP

Mr OOOppppsss

Went to put flatmates work pc on home Lan. Removed it as
a member of the work domain and made it a member of a
workgroup instead. Now we cannot log on. Also set up the
home Lan details under the Alternate settings tab in
tcp/ip.

Please help with putting it right and also with the
correct way to set up a PC to be able to swap as a
member of a workgroup with a static IP or a domain using
DHCP with minimum changes each time (if possible) cheers!
 
If you removed the computer from the work domain, it can only be added back when the computer is back on the work domain's LAN
After you do this, create a local username and password, add it to the Administrators group
Make sure the new username and password matches a administrators group local user's username and password on the other computer. It is best to have computers in the same workgroup or domain when sharing files, but mixed domains/workgroups can share files as long as you have a matching username and passwor
