Can't Log On to Windows

Windows 2000 is treating me as if I am a thief that is trying to break into
my own computer after I made a change to the Local Security Policy in the
Management console.

I don't know exactly what is causing the log on screen to say it can't log
me on to the system but I think it's the "log on as system" setting I
applied before restart that is causing this but why?

any help to this problem will be appreciated.

Log on as "Administrator", then reverse the change you made.

I am the Administrator of the computer even that I don't share it with any one else in my home.

Thanks Dave but as you can see my problem is that I can't log on to Windows
at all. it seems that Windows is not recognizing my user account and password
especially that I set it to not require me to type it at log-on.
