Hi,
This is what I have,
Node1 = IP 192.168.1.9
Domain = Dragon
Gateway = 192.168.1.1
Router1 = IP 192.168.1.1
Router1 = Serial0 = 75.75.75.2
Router2 = Serial0 = 75.75.75.1
Router2 = IP 10.10.10.1
Server = IP 10.10.10.10
Domain = Dragon
Node2 = IP 10.10.10.6
Domain = Dragon
Node2 = Gateway 10.10.10.1
The routers are connected with a back to back cable on the
serial ports.
I can ping everything from ether side. Node2 can log on to
the server using the LISA account, but Node1 cannot. It
gives the error message "No domain controler was available
to process your password...".
From Node1 I can map a drive to the server and copy files
from the server.
I thought having a router between the networks would let
me log on to the DRAGON Domain no matter what the network
addresses were as long as I had a user account on the
server.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
H.L.

Hi,

Your router may be configure to drop packets for a required port. Check out
the following article and make sure all of the required ports are open on
the router:
