Can't log on to Limited User accounts

I thought it was Office 97, but I've removed it and still can't log in with
a Limited User account.

When you select the Limited User account it starts logging in as normal,
but remains on the account selection page for much longer,
where it says "loading your personal settings",
then it clears to a blank screen and doesn't get any further.

You can Ctrl-Alt-Del to get to the task manager window and Logoff.

Is there a way to find if a specific bit of software or hardware I've
installed is causing the problem ?

This is the Same problem that I'm experiencing. Can anyone help

Hey R45six
I found some info on your question, Check the messages in control panel, system adminstration, events, then system log. Check for errors
I'd create another limited account and see if that works. Obviously there i
a program that needs Admin privilege to run but IMHO shouldn't be granted
Another thing might be the Desktop settings. With limited accounts i
would be better to set each user desktop individually, ie, the deskto
configuration is not shared by all users.
Hope this help
