can't log on to dell

While restarting, this dialog box pops up "winlogon.exe -
Entry point Not
Found". the box goes on to read "The procedure entrypoint
AssocIsDangerous could
not be located in the dynamic link library SHLWAPI.dll." I
then go on to click
the "OK" at the bottom of the dialog box.
This causes another dialog box to pop up "User Interface

Failure". This box
reads "The logon User Interface DLL msgina.dll failed to
load. Contact your
system administrator to replace the DLL, or restore the
original DLL." At the
bottom of the box it only gives you 1 option which is to
restart.
I clicked "restart" and the whole process starts all over again.


I cant log on to windows xp.


I have turned off and restarted my computer many times,

the same error dialog
boxes keep popping up.
 
When starting,tap the F8 key,select,safe-mode to start
windows,go to run,type:cmd At the curser type:
Sfc /Scannow When the graph starts install xp cd,exit
info page,when its thru,remove cd and type:
CHKDSK C: /R Agree to restart,then type:EXIT
Restart computer.Enter safe mode as adm.
