Can't log on to Administrator accounts.

Hi!

I am new to this forum. I jsut left XP after 6 months of !@#$% XP --LL!! Ran out yesterday purchsed a new hard drive, and WIndows 2000 Pro. Did a clean install, had a few problems but.....managable. Now tonight, I can't log on to either administrator accounts I get, "Check to see if your password or domain are correct."

I am not on/in a domain just single standalone high speed workstation access. Any ideas?

Another question? I noticed all the server capablitiles, my reason for leaving XP. Can Terminal Server be uninstalled? Actually I need to know if there is way, and how would I go about removing, (not disabling), any and all server capablities, sharing, remote access, print server, etc.....I don't play well with others (lololo).
Sorry, I just have been a victim of "drive by hacking for the past 6 months. PLEASE,... don't advise me to get a firewall or Adware...no offense, but I have tried every Firewall software ever made, 3 different types of hardware firewalls/routers, Gpedit.msc set on Xp, Anti-key loggers, anti- spyware, port blockers, watchdogs, packet sniffers, registry tweaks up the wazu, yet I still got hacked...The "PRO'S" gave up, so did I. Enough of !@#$&*XP --LL!! Can anyone help me please with WIN 200?

Make sure you don't connect to the internet with a freshly installed W2K or
XP. You should install SP4 and ms03-039 before connecting to the internet.
