I installed windows 2000pro over a year ago on my first
computer, but then got a new computer shortly after and
installed XP. The first computer went to storage. My friend
is now in possesion of that first computer but I cannot
remember my old username and password whatsoever. Is there
anything I can do to bypass the logon prompt and use this
old computer? Without the username and password the system
is locked. "Guest" as a username is not available either.
Any suggestions for a possible key-code or anything? Please
help! Thanks!

I have the same problem, I do not see an answer here? Did you get an answer?
I would appreciate you sharing if you were able to get into your old computer.
thanks

You will have to crack the password. There are several tools on the internet
to do this. There is no default password or back door. Do a search at Google
for "administrator password reset" or something to that effect and you
should be able to find one.
