Hello,
I am not connecting to an office network anymore so I changed the "setting"
to take off the network and use the computer as a stand alone. After
rebooting, I cannot log on AT ALL!! "System could not log you on. Make sure
our user name and domain are correct..." My log in name and password do not
work and neither does administrator. Can anyone help please?

Thank you.

That would be because XP has been configured to make you computer a member
of a domain, and one simple change won't undo that (as you've discovered).
Who set up your computer originally? Can you ask them to do the desired
reconfiguration? If no, you'll need detailed instructions, and this .NET
programming group is probably not the best place to ask. Instead,

To find the group you need:

http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...spx?guid=1080912A-26C5-7040-AFDD-2224A4FEB3EA

Then open your language in the TreeView on the left, scroll down to
"Windows", open and scroll down to "Windows XP" and look for an
appropriate group there.
