Can't log in after changing from a domain to a workgroup.

I have a laptop tha is normally setup for a corporate
domain. To access other computers on a home network I
switched from the domain to a workgroup. WinXP told me to
reboot for the changes to take effect. After the reboot
I can no longer log into the system even as the
adminstrator.

Any ideas on how to recover from this? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

What happens during the startup? Where do things go wrong?
 
Have you had any responses on this? I posted the exact
same issue a few days ago and have not had any replies - -
it appears that you have not either. I'll be sure to
share any 'hits' I get on this frustrating topic.
