Can't locate shortcuts

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I have shortcuts to my CD drives on my desktop, but when I click on
them I get an error message saying they were moved or can't be found.

If I go to 'My Computer' I can access the drives with no problem...
Apparently it's just the shortcuts.

Any help in solving this would be appreciated.

Have you moved folders? Recreate the defective shortcuts, then delete the
old ones.

It happens ALL THE TIME. Believe me, I've created the shortcuts dozens
of times...

I installed the new patch/update and it solved the problem.
