Dear Sir/Mdm,

My Windows XP OS could not start because of some file
corruption (C:\windows\system32\config\system).

I installed XP on another harddisk (D drive) on the same
computer. I needed to retrieve my data stored on the C
drive but could not locate the directory My Documents.

How can I retrieve my data??

Tks

The default location of the My Documents folder is C:\Documents and
Settings\<user name>\My Documents. You may need to take ownership of this
folder before you can access it, depending on your settings and
configuration.
