It seems my win2000 has SP1,4,5. I cannot install SP3
due to newer SP packs. What alternatives do I have to load
SP3? Without this I cannot use my new card reader.
Also I cannot find a way to uninstall the newer SPs.
I have no idea why I didn't have SP2,3 loaded previously!!

Service Pack 4 includes all earlier Service packs, so installing SP2 or
SP3 would be going back to a previous version. There is no Service Pack 5
yet. If you really specifically need SP3 and there's no uninstall
available for SP4 (bad choice on your part if so), you'll have to start
over by doing a repair install of Win2K and then updating that to SP3.

It seems odd, but since the service packs supercede the previous packs . . .
why would you want to install them ALL or go backwards?

Q. What is Windows 2000 Service Pack 4?
