can't load certain web pages

Someone Please Help

I have 5 years worth of files/programs on my desktop computer and want to update drivers, software, etc. from the Adobe Systems and Sun Microsystems websites, but for some reason I can't access these from my desktop computer (Win98). I've talked to my ISP (they don't know what's wrong); I've checked my IE settings and they seem to be fine; I just can't figure this out.

I really appreciate someone telling me how to fix this
