Can't launch Access 97

Hi

After 2 years or so, finally needed to use Access 97 but now have a message "microsoft access cant start as their is no licence for it on this machine" I am running XP now and have tried to uninstall and reinstall - using CD key but still unable to start programme. Would anyone have any suggestions.
 
A fairly common bug.
