After successfully downloading the latest beta version, I
get the message: "MicrosoftANtiSpywareInstall.exe is ot a
valid Win32 application."

Any suggestions?

If you are attempting to install on Windows Millennium
edition, this is the expected message. Microsoft
Antispyware is not compatible with this version of
Windows, only Windows 2000, XP and related or later
products.

Possibly the download was corrupt or truncated.

Empty your Temporary Internet Files, and try the download again by following
the Download links from http://www.microsoft.com/spyware

Already tried this and I'm getting the same error still.
As for the user not running the correct operating
system... I'm on XP SP2 and getting the same exact
message.

.

Re-do the download, be sure to save the file locally, rather than run on the
download, and try it again.
