cant install windows xp

hi
i just got a new computer and i was preparing to load windows but when i boot xp home from the cd, it boots from the cd then says its reading all these files, then it gets to a point where it states "Setup is starting Windows" and then nothing happens. i tried updating the bios but still no luck, i also tried loading from boot disks but still no joy. does anyone have any suggestions or ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

Be sure the BIOS boot sector virus protection is off. Experiment with BIOS
options. Run Memtest86 boot disk to be sure system is OK.

windows xp works on an ntsf system can run on fat32 partition but will give prob redo u patition to nstf system see if this fixes u prob
