can't install updates

Hi,
Two updates must have been corrupted during the download, and the security
guard keeps trying to install them, but then says they can't be installed.
I can't find them by searching on their file names to delete them.
Can anyone tell me how I can erase them, so that I can download another copy
that will install properly>

Microsoft PSS gives free online or phone support for problems with updates.
The details are at the Help and Support Link on the Microsoft Update home
page.
 
If you want to post the install messages, that'd be helpful too if you
haven't gotten through on the phone.

Are you using the Microsoft Update site that combines Windows and Office
updates? Might try the Office Update site. When an Office update fails, a
link appears to download the "flat files" for the update. In other words,
the link will be to a download of the update that you will save on the
desktop. Then run the downloaded update by double clicking on it.

BTDT- Ran into a similar problem a while back with one system and I used
the downloads to get those updates installed.
