can't install update NVIDIA software...

I downloaded the 11.8mb NVIDIA display software update
released on May 02, 2003, from the microsoft update
center and it won't install. Tried uninstalling,
redownloading, reinstalling, etc., to no avail. Any
suggestions? Thanks, pv
 
11.8mb,theres a 4.7 something,and the 44.2,sure its the
correct one for xp.Try uninstalling nvidia in device
mgr.,restart computer,try search,make sure all is un-
installed,then go to windows update,it should offer the
4.7mb display driver.It seemed to work better than the
nvidia 44mb from thier site.
