Can't install Home & Student...Help!

I am trying to install H&S but keep getting an error message stating that
excel can not be found & to find the location. Please help!
 
When are you getting this error message? During the installation process
from the disk, or after the installation from disk has completed?

If it is during the installation from the disk, you may simply have been
unlucky enough to get a bad disk. The cure would be to take the package you
purchased back to where you got it and exchange it.
