Cant install cat 8.2 the dreaded setup cant find hardware etc.

I tried to install cat 8.2
Halfway through the install I got the message
Setup cant find compatible ati hardware or operating system (or something
like that)
Any suggestions on a work around.

Well, your "or something like that" leaves it pretty wide open as to
what may be wrong. You need to be more specific for anybody to have a
chance at helping you.
